Thats what LIFTMAGIC is for! If you have ever wondered how “good” you would look if you had your celebrities surgeon, or a specific procedure done, then this website is for you. You can upload your own picture to the site and start tweeking it. It couldnt be easier!

But please remember that just because it looks good on screen does not mean it will look exactly like that in real life. Here at BREAKALEGG we dont advocate against surgical procedures but we do advocate against refusing to look your age or trying to look like a different person and winding up looking like a saussage-lipped wax figurine.

Even so, this website is just too much fun not to check out: LIFTMAGIC.

Completely nude when it comes to makeup and photoshop, these stars advocate the natural beuty instead of the airbrushed orange figurines we seem to be setting as a standard. I personally think this is a wonderful statement. I also feel their bravery is worth noting because we all start depending on someone erasing our little defects. What do you think?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder—68 different beholders in the case of Tommer Leyvand’s new “beautification engine.” The software, featured in a story in the New York Times, takes preferences from a poll of 68 men and women from Israel and Germany who looked at pictures and chose the most beautiful subjects. Measuring common traits like smaller eyes, rounder chins and higher foreheads, it applies those rules of attractiveness, Photoshop-style, to images of other faces. If need be, it can do a full-on virtual nip-tuck-and-slice yet in some cases, the beautification engine won’t change a thing.

In the top shot, you can see how the girl’s face has been radically altered. Many people I know would of course find the face on the right beautiful, but you can’t help but be shocked at the overall impact that a few minor feature alterations can have on the appearance of a face.

In some cases, it’s just funny, like Woody Allen here:

In case you couldn’t tell, the machine judged that Allen is, for the most part, devastatingly handsome, but that nose of his just had to be trimmed.

I am not sure what that says about the panel of judges. I wonder what would happen if a beauty poll of 100 different countries was used to create the rules. Maybe we’d discover a universal concept of beauty. Or maybe we’d learn that with so many opinions of beauty, nothing would need changing.

In the short term, the computer doesn’t say a lot that Hollywood can’t already tell us. Shots of James Franco, for instance, go through the process untouched, while the nerdier Michael Cera gets more of a going over. Check out these shots and more, plus the full story of Leyvand’s software.

Whether we like it or not, its true that your face is your fortune. If you are Cameron Diaz, Halle Berry, or Brad Pitt, your face can and will open many doors for you; if you are not perceived as beautiful, reviewers might not focus on your acting. This happened to Kathy Bates, where critics like John Simon said things like “its a shame her leading man should play opposite an actress who is enormously overweight. ”

But Bate enjoys an enviable career as an actress (with an Oscar for her work in Misery) and as a director. And she has proven over and over again, that there are a lot of beauties in Hollywood and only one Kathy Bates. Its harder to carve out your niche when you don’t physically fit the Hollywood beauty standard personified by the likes of Angelina, Drew and Julia, but once in, know that they cant just get another pretty face to replace you!

I believe you can look very “off” and still reach all your goals in your career if you work hard and persevere in a focused and determined way. Know your strengths and focus on honing in your talents. Beauty wins, but beauty fades. So dont think of others and their standards, just work hard at being the best you that you can be. And that includes working on your body, on your image, health, but mainly on your skills and professionalism. If you work hard and persevere, your physicality should not be a hindrance to your career.

Now a days there is simply no excuse to not take care of your mouths appearance or hygiene. With all the available products in the market though, sometimes it can be hard to decide.

All of our favorite actors have beautiful straight and white teeth. Its a must in society, but even more extreme in this industry. Why? For the same reason hair removal and skin care are fundamental now: HD! High definition means that when the public is looking at you in the movies, your pores can be the size of a fist. Also means that if your teeth are anything but gleaming pearls everyone will see. And its one of the fastest ways to become unattractive. Risking sounding vulgar, my father always told me: look at how a woman (I think it applies to men too) takes care of her mouth, and you’ll know how she takes care of her…well, her intimates. It might be true or not, but I have always found that for me (and most people I know) one of the biggest turn offs is a bad mouth.

Crooked teeth? Gaps? Yellow coloring? Its OK!!! Now a days ANYONE can have a great smile. Starting with the most obvious: teeth whitening. In Hollywood the big stars use porcelain veneers. They last long, dont change color, glisten and shine, and even correct minor imperfections of=r gaps. But to get just one tooth done costs around 3000 bucks! Done right at least. So unless you can afford it, stick to other easier methods:

Britesmile teeth whitening: (600$) Using a special light with a whitening gel, this is an in-office bleaching system. It is often followed up with an at-home bleaching kit if needed.

Laser bleaching:(1000$)Using a laser with a whitening gel, this is an in-office bleaching system.

Custom fit-tray bleaching:(200$) A custom fitted tray is worn over your teeth. A small amount of the bleaching gel is placed in the tray and worn for a brief amount of time each day.

In-mall whitening stores or stands: (100$)This is a newer whitening option but is basically the same as the in-home kits. A custom fitted tray or strips are worn over your teeth.

Store bought whitening strips:(20$)A whitening strip is fitted over your upper and lower teeth. You’ll wear them for a half hour to one hour once a day depending on the brand.

I personally think its best to let a pro do it, and investing in your mouths health is worth while. Also I have experienced sensitivity problems with at home strips. But even more important than the whitening… is making sure your mouth is healthy, clean, brushed 3 times a day, and your breath is in order!!!! For all those kissing scenes!
