For the daily needs of actors trying to make it big!!!
So I finally gave in and spent 15 dollars to go see AVATAR this weekend.The visual effects of the movie are in no doubt in a league of their own and so will not be the focus of what I am going to discuss. To the thousands of graphic artists involved from sketching and concept, to animation 3-D or lighting… BRAVO!.
Now, what I really wanted to review is the “substance or lack-there-of” of this multi-million dollar investment.
Here is a great little article about what lessons our movies have taught us, that come really handy at a time like this. We are all trying to save what money we have or simply make more by getting creative, and script writers have got a thing or two they can teach us. From Breakfast at Tiffanys, Confessions of a Shopaholic, to Grapes of Wrath. Who said watching movies wasnt productive?

Here is our next Horror trailer. Im a little bit torn on what to think of this adaptation from teen novel… It seems like it could be great, or become just another young tween story without substance. What do you think?
In film, you sometimes encounter actors who think they’re going to steal the scene by being big, and bombastic. Proving their value. Those actors are using their bodies and voices instead of their brain! They don’t realize in terms of voice and action, less is more…
